TEST PREPARATION

The goal of the United States Department of Education and adapted by the majority of the States, is to prepare students to be ready for the academic rigor of every grade.  “Readiness is a key for advancement to every grade.  ‘Readiness’ is that students will be prepared and ready to enter a grade level, and will leave each grade level prepared and ready for the next.  Readiness is not just for kindergarten, middle school, and high school, but extends through the collegiate level.
The assessment that has evolved to measure “Readiness” is EPAS.  EPAS is a system that is aligned with the Common Core State Standards and is used to measure college and career readiness in grades 8 (Plan), 10 (Explore), 11(ACT) and 12(Keys).  EPAS is the mandatory state test for Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Learning and You staff has been trained by professionals who have developed a proven model to increase ACT scores.  Over the past 20 years, 97% of their students have increased their ACT scores by 3 or more points!
